Good Evening All!
Yep, I`m back with another card using my new dies. I`ve been playing mix and match and have been having great fun. It`s also a terrific way to use up your snippets of card ( and I have so much). So I`m entering this one into Pixies Crafty Snippets Challenge.
The DP is Pink Petticoat brocade which I had to print off as I didn`t have any pale yellow among my snippets but all the card is scraps.
The Square doily is from the back of a square card that I messed up.
Other dies I`ve used are; Fleur de Lis Motifs and Lacey Circles, all Spellbinders.
The Organza Ribbon is from my stash as are the flowers.I`ve added some pale yellow pearls to finish and a decorative pin.
The sentiment is computer generated.
A quick tip...Sometimes when I`m using the more intricate dies they can be very hard to remove the card. I read somewhere to run them through with wax paper but I haven`t got any so I gently rubbed mine with an old candle, not too hard as it acts like a cheese grater and makes a heck of a mess but it seems to work.
Thanks for popping in...Lynne xxx

Thanks for the tip. I have loads of pins to use up so must remember to use them on my projects. This card is really prettying the lemon shades. Hugs Mrs a.
ReplyDeleteYou'll have them dies worn out!! LOL Another lovely card Lynne! x
ReplyDeleteAnother stunning one!
ReplyDeleteI can just see all those little bits of grated wax and you cursing as you clean up the mess lol! If you need to do it again, make your own wax paper first - just rub your candle onto some greaseproof and then run it through your machine ;-)

ReplyDeleteHi Lynne . . . such a pretty card. Lovely die too.
ReplyDeleteI've been using greaseproof paper between the die itself and the cardstock I'm trying to cut . . . that seems to help but is not perfect!
Hugs,
