Another quick post from me today. The day is flying by waay too fast, roll on next week ;-)
Next monday will be Alan and Rachels first wedding anniversary. It doesn`t seem 5 minutes since we were getting all excited about the wedding. They will be in the Canaries for their anniversary, a belated honeymoon since Alan couldn`t fly last year with his poorly knee, so I`ve given them their card already.
The card base and panel are pearlescent faux watered silk in ivory.
I`ve added some ivory lace to two of the corners. The larger oval is Spellbinders Beaded Ovals die with the second size Floral Oval matted onto it, both in plain ivory pearlescent card as is the Labels 4 die with a frame by Waltzing Mouse stamped and embossed in detail silver EP.
The sentiment is Flourishes Tag Lines also embossed in silver EP.
I`ve added some ivory pearls to the beaded oval to finish.
I was going to add a bow but thought it might be too much.

What a fabulous card Lynne, I am sure it will be treasured also. Yes I can't believe it's a year already ( for our son and DIL last month too). I can still remember all the panic at last minute details lol. My son was soo nervous making his speech he couldn't eat a thing at the meal before.Everyone was in tears at the end though...well the women were...such a beautiful & emotional speech he made. Glad the happy couple are getting away for a nice belated honeymoon also :) Viv xx

Gosh - I remember when you were busy with all the preparations and then the knee! The year has simply flown by and your card for Alan & Rachel is absolutely beautiful! You can see the sheen on the card, the beautiful layers and fabulous lace. Great card!
