Good afternoon all!
I hope I find you well and enjoying a glorious weekend.
It`s wk 26 over at Less is More which means it`s a half year anniversary. I can`t believe we`ve been submitting for a whole 6 months. So, Happy Anniversary Mandi and Chrissie and long may you continue.
It`s lucky dip week too and we have been asked to make a CAS card using something fruity or with fruity colours. I have really struggled and almost didn`t join in this week. I have no fruit stamps or digi`s and I couldn`t come up with much from the various CD`s I have. I also have a rubbish printer so what I have come up with isn`t the best it could be. But, I didn`t want to break my run of not missing a week,so, while my entry might not win any prizes at least I`ve joined in.
Here is my card,
Just isn`t my day today, not only is the card pretty pants but the photo is too.
The image is downloaded from a Microsoft Greetings CD cut out with a nestie rectangle and raised on foam pads.
The sentiment is computer generated and is the best I could think of.
I think I`m going to admit defeat this week and hope for a better challenge next week lol.

A Fairy for an Angel...
Good Morning All!
Well we have morning sunshine at last up here for a change. I was beginning to think summer was over. I hope the weather is good for you too where ever you are.
It will be my youngest Grand daughter Ruby`s 3rd birthday on Sunday. As she is far too young yet to even think about blogging I feel it`s safe to post her card on here.
I`ve called this post a fairy for an angel because she is an angel, well, most of the time lol. Here it is...
Now, as many of you know, I don`t do a lot of cute cards, mainly because of my appalling colouring skills. But I have been practising and I`m really chuffed with how this one came out. I may yet venture into cute and cuddly in the future.
I bought the stamp, Flower Fairy Candy Tuft by Crafters Companion especially for this card and I`m very pleased with it. A huge stamp making it easy to colour lol.
I`ve coloured with promarkers and glittered her wings with Glamour Dust.
The DP are snippets, the stripes are Pink Petticoat and the hearts are I think, Cute Colors tiles.
I`ve matted the image onto some darker pink card (another snippet) with a scalloped edge on one side using my Martha Stewart Doily Punch.
I added a white ribbon along the join and made a ribbon flower, then added some flowers by Wild Orchid crafts.
I punched a Martha Stewart Butterfly out of white glitter card and added that to the image.
The sentiment is computer generated and cut with a nestie circle.
Because I`ve used snippets I`m going to show it on Jules crafty snippets challenge #29 too.
Thanks for popping in...Lynne xxx

Game for a laugh...
Good Evening All!
Quite a quick post from me today. I just wanted to show you a card I made for a friend of Alans.
Part of Alans job is to do high industrial cleans on light fittings and air filters. As this sometimes means using scaffolding he has to work with another person as against being alone as he usually is. When a job like this comes up he always takes his friend Maggie. She works for the same company as a chargehand cleaner and really knows her stuff. She is also always game for a laugh.
It`s Maggies birthday in a few days but she is on leave from tomorrow so Alan has given her her card today. Although I made it, all the detail and specification comes from Alan.
Well almost. He wanted mops and buckets but I couldn`t find a decent picture so he got Pink Petticoat Swirls instead lol.
I made the concertina medalion out of a scrap of paper and the DP is from my snippet box so I`m entering this into Jules crafty snippets wk 29
The rest speaks for itself really. Sentiments are computer generated and cut out with nestie circles.
I`m waiting for him to get home to tell me her response. Knowing Maggie she`ll be wearing the rosette as a badge of honour lol.
Talking about a laugh check out this clip on youtube cheap flights. My dad showed me it and it really is the funniest thing I`ve heard in ages.
Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Less is More #25 Recipe.
Good afternoon all. I hope the weekend has been kind to you.
I`m a bit late with my entry for this weeks Less is More Challenge.which is a recipe, Button or Ribbon.
Well you all know me and my bows by now so I was in my element, if only Mr Mojo would play along too...
Yesterday I had to go into town to get my shoes for the wedding. When I got home, groom to be son wanted me to help with seating arrangements for the wedding breakfast, nightmare!!! By the time I got into the craft room it was too late to do anything really creative. The whole of last week seems to have flown by in whirl for some reason and once again I have to apologise for not getting around every one to comment. I will try harder this week I promise.
I have four cards to share, hopefully making life a little easier for you on the commenting front.
For my first card I`ve stamped Flourishes Gerbera Daisies straight onto the card and coloured in various shades of yellow and orange.
I`ve then added a big blousy ribbon and bow in orange. It was so flippin` cold here yesterday I needed some sunshine from somewhere...
Next is a blue one. I stamped the Damask from Elusive Images ( now Chocolate Baroque) in Memento Bahama blue then over stamped the sentiment from Layers of colour in Memento Tuxedo Black.
Another big blousy ribbon and bow, this time in sky blue.
I`ve also added an embossed circular frame around the image but it`s difficult to see in the piccy.
My next one is a bit more delicate.
The Poppy stamp is another fromChocolate Baroque coloured with promarkers.
The sentiment is by Flourishes and I`ve finished off with a pink gingham ribbon and bow.
It looks a bit washed out in the photo but IRL the flower is quite a vibrant pink. Sorry.
And last but not least is this one. A bit different in that I`ve used a coloured card base.
Another one that looks washed out I`m afraid.
The image is by Papertrey and it`s called Autumn Abundance. I think the flowers are chrysanthemums and I`m not sure you can get purple Mums but call it artistic license lol.
Image coloured with promarkers. I managed to get a smudge on the sentiment which is why I`ve done a label. Some pale lilac ribbon and a bow to finish.
That`s it from me for now, I`ve been up since 5.40 ( I know it`s sunday and a day of rest but try telling my bladder that lol) and I`m shattered. I think I`ll go and see if there`s an old black and white film on that I can nod off to.

CR84FN # 34
Good Morning all and TGIF.
Sorry I`ve been so quiet these past few days but life has been busy, busy, busy.
The inspiration pic for this fortnights CR84FN
is beautiful. How could I not join in to use these fabulous colours?
Here is my entry,
I`ve used a 5x5 white card base.
The DP is a beautiful pink and creamy yellow rose pattern from a CD from Hinny Bop called Dreamy Flower Collection 2. I`d printed a sheet off ages ago and only used a small piece so this is a snippet, matted onto some deep pink card.
The sentiment is from Layers of Colour Happy Wishes set stamped in Memento Rose Bud which, luckily is a perfect match for the deep pink card.I`ve cut it out with a nestie labels 4 die, then cut another the same size in deep pink, chopped it in half and adhered it to the back with a little showing at the sides. ( it`s difficult to see but if you enlarge the pic you might be able to see better) I`ve added 3 tiny pink gems .
I made some yellow and pale pink roses using a Marianne designs die and added some yellow ribbon and a blousy bow.
That`s it from me for today. I hope tomorrow is a bit more restful and productive, though somehow I doubt it lol.

Jules crafty snippets
Hello there.
Before you begin reading any further I must warn you that this is a picture heavy post. Get a cuppa and make yourself comfortable.
I mentioned last week that I was going to take photos of my snippets to shame me into using more of them. Well, I have....are you ready for this?...
This is my pile of paper snippets. It`s actually not as bad as it looks (honest) and quite a lot of them are digi papers. I`ve had to put them on the spare bed because there are too many to fit on the desk properly.
And this pile is my card snippets. Now this is really worse than it looks on here. You can`t see properly how deep the pile is. I am quite ashamed of this little lot. I was going to put them on our bed because it`s much larger but there is glitter card in among that lot and I didn`t think Alan would be very pleased to wake up next morning covered in glitter lol.
But....
Look at it now.
Being the cheapskate that I am I only bought 4 plastic boxes (£1 each from Poundland) and utilised some old biscuit tins for the rest. I will get more plastic boxes eventually. All the card has been sorted into colour and boxed up making it really easy to find and also keeping it from getting damaged. I used to keep it all in a large underbed storage box and then had to rake through it. The Papermill box has got gold, silver and sparkley card in and I`ve another one that all my paper snippets fit nicely into. So much better than before and now that I can get at easier I`m using it alot more already.
My white card is still in the large box for now and in all fairness to myself, most of it is the bits you get when you make a square card from an A4 sheet so that will get used for smaller images and sentiments.
I will take another photograph at Christmas time to see how the pile has diminshed.
Right after all that I`d better show you a card.
Both the DP`s are from Kameo Crafts but different sets.
The image is my old favourite Agapanthus Cluster from Stampendous, stamped in Versacolour Evergreen.
The sentiment is by Personal Impressions.
I`ve added 2 butterflies because I got ink on one bit and a faded bit on another. This was my 4th attempt at stamping this and I`d had enough lol.
Edited to add; I`ve just seen Jules snippet stash. I don`t feel half so bad now ha ha !

Less is More wk 24 take 2
Good afternoon all!
I know I`ll breaking my own rule by posting twice but I had the urge to make another card for this weeks Less is More challenge. Sorry!
I`ll keep the waffle short and just get on with the card,
Very similar to my last entry.
Circles cut with varying sizes of Nestie dies two of which I`ve cut out further circles, all made with snippets from my card bits ( Jules will be proud of me lol) all raised with foam pads.
Sentiment is by Crafty Secrets.
I`ve added one very bright pink gem for a bit of bling.
I think I prefer this one to the first.

Less is More wk 24... Circles
Good Afternoon All!
I hope I find you all fit and well. I would like to say a very big welcome to my new followers and also a massive thank you to all of you that commented on my last LiM post about comments. I feel so much better now that I know that I`m not the only one struggling to get around everyone.
It`s theme week at Less is More and we`ve been asked to make a card using circles (plural). Gosh did I struggle. I don`t possess one circle stamp, I`m ashamed to admit. This is something that I`m going to have to rectify. I really couldn`t come up with an idea at all, creative block or something. I asked Alan and came up with alsorts of wierd and wonderful suggestions, one being the Olympic badge which I immediately cast aside. It must have stuck in my head though because this is what I eventually found myself making.
I know the Olympic badge has 5 circles and my card only has 3 but it does bear a slight resemblance.
I cut the circles using 4 nestie circle dies one inside another to make the 3 frames in Burgundy, hot pink and a paler pink card.
The flower is made of pink paper using a Marianne designs Rose die. I`ve added a pearl and some punched leaves.
The sentiment is computer generated.
Sorry the pic is a bit wonky, blame my terrible photographic skills.

Flourishes Noon Time Challenge #2
Good Morning All!
Another quick post from me as I battle with my old enemy...time. There`s never enough of it.
I`ve been looking at the various challenges over at Flourishes for some time but never had the courage to join in before. There are some truely awesome creaters joining their challenges. Today, however I decided to bite the bullet and join in THIS challenge which is to CASE one of their members cards.
I chose Silke Ledlow as I have been in awe of her cards for a long time. She uses layers and texture but still manages to make them look CAS.
This is the card I cased and you can find it HERE
And here is my version.
I`ve used Cuttlebug candy Canes EF for the panel.
The stamp is Flourishes Orchids coloured with Promarkers.
I`ve added some green gingham ribbon tied in a knot and some pink gems.
No where near as good as Silkes but I`ll keep trying.
Thanks for popping in...Lynne xxx

One Layer Wednesday #62 Make it personal.
Good Evening All!
First of all can I say a very big welcome to my recent followers. I have now reached 100 yaaay!!!
It`s Susans turn to host OLW this week and we are to make a one layer card that is personal to the recipient. Susan is a bit under the weather at the moment so pop over and give her your best wishes. I`m sure it`ll cheer her up no end.
Here is my card for the challenge.
It will be my son`s birthday at the end of this month and, as he plays Sunday league football (soccer) in this two tone green kit it was an obvious choice to make.
Very similar to the card I made for LiM this week but this time I remembered to put my sentiment at the right side.
The stamp is by Rubbadubbado coloured with Promarkers.
The sentimewnt is computer generated.
Not much to say for a change. I`ve been very busy this week, not much time for crafting. I can`t wait for the weekend.

St Lukes July Challenge 2nd card
Good Morning All!
Just a quick reminder to let you know that there`s still plenty of time left to join in with this months challenge at
St Lukes Charity Card Challenge which is Black, White and one other colour of your choice.
Today I`ve made a card using bright green as my `other` colour.
White base card is 5x5
Black and white damask paper is by Pink Petticoat matted onto bright green card.
I`ve made a flower also using bright green card ( this time I`ve decided it looks like a cos lettuce lol) and the leaves are a Marianne Designs die.
I haven`t added a sentiment so it can be used for any occasion
Don`t forget to join in this month, there is a fantastic prize donated by our guest designer Zoe Tant,
this fabulous Stampin` up set.
Your donations are also more than welcome to raise much needed revenue for the hospice. Thank you.

Jules crafty snippet challenge wk 27
Good Morning All!
The sun is shining and it`s lovely and warm today ( for now) and I`m back at work this afternoon, typical. Never mind I have a couple of cards to share for Jules crafty snippets.
The girl who works on the next checkout to me is going into hospital for a major operation on wednesday so I`ve made her this card to take in with her.
The spotty paper is a snippet from another huge stack from Papermania that doesn`t seem to deplete no matter how much I use it. The stripey paper I think is from Pink Petticoat. All matted onto snippets of navy blue card.
The image is from Chocolate Baroque Fresh Florals stampset. I think it`s a poppy but not too sure lol.
Sentiment is by Personal Impressions.
This one isn`t made for anyone in particular and it`ll probably go into the St Lukes Charity
box.
Spotty paper is a piece from that other stack that lasts forever from Papermania. The two tone pink is from another stack that I`ve had since the year dot and can never remember who makes them.
The image is another from CB fresh florals and I`m not sure whether its a Carnation or a Sweet William but I`ve decided it`s a Sweet William for this card.
Sentiment by Flourishes.
I was going to take a photograph of all my snippets to show as suggested by Jules but being so untidy there isn`t enough space on my desk at the moment. As soon as I get the chance I will though if only to embarrass myself into using even more snippets lol.
Thanks for popping in...Lynne xxx

I was going to take a photograph of all my snippets to show as suggested by Jules but being so untidy there isn`t enough space on my desk at the moment. As soon as I get the chance I will though if only to embarrass myself into using even more snippets lol.

The day is full of birds...
Good afternoon All!
Now I know I said in yesterdays Less is More
post that I was going to save you all the trouble of commenting on multiple posts by posting all my entries together but today I`m back with just one more. I know it`s not the best card I`ve ever made and really I`m posting it because I have something else to talk about but didn`t think you`d bother if there wasn`t a card with it lol.
It`s a bit of a cop out having birds on it as, although they do have legs, they are more `Things with wings`
Anyway, stamp by Inkadinkado Birds Galore stamped in Versacolour Peony.
Sentiment by Crafty Secrets also stamped in Peony.
Now, what I really wanted to say.
I have noticed a few of you have said on your blogs that you are worried and even get a bit stressed at not being able to leave comments on all the LiM entries.
In my opinion you have nothing to worry about. I`m sure that the majority of us are working and I know first hand how busy life gets.
I only work afternoons but there is still housework, family commitments , meals to cook and lets face it, even crafters have to sleep. I really appreciate each and every comment I get and you have no idea how much of confidence boost it is. However hard I try I nearly always run out of time to comment on every entry. That doesn`t mean I don`t like your creations but sometimes it`s a choice between making a card and spending the evening on the PC. I`m sure ( and hope) that many of you can understand this. And lets face it, papercrafting is a hobby, it`s supposed to be fun, not something to stress about.
One more thing. Do any of you have a Kodak printer and if so, what do you think about it?
I used to have a Lexmark all in one and was quite happy with it but the ink wasn`t cheap. When it packed up I bought a Kodak because of the cheaper ink but the colours are no where near as vibrant as the Lexmark was. I`m quite disappointed really. Let me know please.

Less is More #23..Something with legs...The Collection...
Tee hee, couldn`t decide whether to do 4 seperate posts or all in one this week but I thought I`d save your achey fingers and do a `Collection`. That`s not to say there won`t be more during the week, it depends on how well I adapt to being back at work lol.
I`ll try to keep it brief after my ramblings about my beautiful, intelligent, very imaginative Grandaughter yesterday, ( As a grandma, I get bragging rights lol)
Right, on with it. This weeks challenge at Less is More is a one layer card using anything with legs. My heart sank when I saw the deets, most of my stamps are flowers, I haven`t got anything with legs, doh! A quick look at my stamp collection and I found alsorts of things with legs. I`m just too thick to realise. So without further ado here is my first card.
Grandson Nathans birthday isn`t until december but I`ll put it away until then.
Footballer stamp by Rubbadubbado, coloured with Promarkers in Hull City colours, Nathan is a fanatical City fan.
Sentiment is computer generated.
Next is this gorgeous digi Giraffe from Pink Petticoat, coloured in Promarkers.
Sentiment is Computer generated again.
The third one is my first ever Lili of the Valley Stamp that I recieved this week in the post. I love this little teddy and I`m sure he won`t be the last LOTV I buy.
Coloured with Promarkers again but it looks a bit wishy washy in the photo. IRL it is much brighter.
Sentiment is by Personal Impressions.
And last but not least is this one. Not sure about this, I think the sentiment could have been nearer the image.
Chair stamp from Papermania Chatsworth Collection stamped in Memento Ladybug.
Sentiment is computer generated.
That`s the lot for now, we keep having short thunder storms and the dogs don`t like it so I have to keep running down stairs to comfort them. I think we`re having the rain that the rest of the country had yesterday, it`s stair rods here. I quite enjoy a good thunder storm but I`m a bit wary about being in the loft on the PC if there`s a big crack. What a baby!!!

Playdate Cafe #89
Hello all!
I really hope the weather is better where you are than it is here but going by this mornings weather forecast the whole of the UK is getting rained on. What has happened to summer?
Before I go any further can I say a very big welcome to my new followers ( mad two handed wave)
Anyway, it`s been ages and ages since I`ve had a chance to join in with The Playdate Cafe Challenge
but this week I couldn`t resist the gorgeous colour inspiration so I thought I`d give it a go.
Considering I`ve been off work all week you would think I`d have had more chance to craft but not in my world. I`ve spent most of the week catching up with things that I don`t get the chance to do while working and visiting friends and family. Today, being friday, is the last day of my break ( I don`t work weekends so I don`t count those lol) so I was determined to have a crafting day.
This is what I came up with,
A6 base card.
Pink Petticoat Dots in Buttermilk matted onto Taupe card.
Sentiment circle had Waltzing Mouse Big Blooms Chrysanthemum stamped in Verscolour Mint with sentiment from Personal Impressions Stamped over using Versafineblack ink.
Mint card cut out with scalloped circle nestie and taupe flat backed pearls.
Mint ribbon and bows from stash.
Yesterday was Linda`s funeral and I was asked to look after my youngest Grandaughter Ruby so Mum and Dad could attend. I don`t often get Ruby all to myself and I worried a little as to how I was going to keep her amused and occupied. She will be 3 at the end of this month so she needs amusing. Or so I thought!. Turned out SHE amused ME.
I had planned to take her to the park but the sky kept clouding over and I didn`t want to risk a soaking so we started by taking her to see my neighbours chickens and cockerel. They kept her entertained for all of 2 minutes but she spent at least 20 minutes collecting sticks. Apparently she has a thing about sticks and by the time she went home I could have built a bonfire with the amount she collected. Then she discovered the watering can in the garden so the tubs got a good soaking along with Ruby`s feet. Once she got fed up with that game, she found Alans junk corner at the side of the shed. This is where he puts things that haven`t got a home or are waiting until he decides whether or they are any good or not. Ruby found a huge plastic container which became her drum. She showed me a mean Phil Collins impression then informed me that it was my turn. While I pounded out a beat, Ruby did a dance, now this was the cutest thing I`ve seen in a long time.
Having danced herself out Ruby went back to the junk and found a piece of copper pipe that Alan had bent over on itself. This pipe had a strange connecter thing on one end and immediately Ruby said " Grandma drum, this is my trumpet".
I tell you, that child has one vivid imagination. We had quite a percussion band going at one point with me on the drums and Ruby ooohing in her trumpet or banging stones together in time to the beat. She also read her favourite book, The Very Hungry Caterpiller along with me, I found that hugely entertaining. At around 4,o,clock Ruby had a nap which was great as I was wilting a bit by then. We had a fabulous time and it was just so lovely to have her to myself. I can`t say I wasn`t ready when Mum and Dad came to collect her though, kids are sooo tiring, I was in bed at just gone 10 last night.
Do you know, I wouldn`t swap being a Grandma for the world!

cr84fn # 33
Good afternoon all!
First of all can I shout from the rooftops to tell you all I got A TERRIFIC TOP 3 place in last weeks challenge at CR84FN I am so chuffed. As soon as I recieve my badge I`ll put it at the top of my sidebar..
The colours for this fortnights challenge at CR84FN are red, pinkand a neutral. Now red and pink are colours I would never normally put together and I did struggle to come up with something I wanted to admit to making lol. My first attempt went straight into the bin but that was mainly down to not having any mojo on monday. How typical, I take a week off work and my mojo goes on holiday.
Yesterday was completely different. I took a different approach and within minutes came up with this one, much, much better than the first.
I`ve kept it CAS as this seems to be my preferred style at the moment.
A6 white card base.
Panel cut slightly smaller than card, I`ve embossed lines on one side of panel with score board.
The DP is a from my snippet box and is by Pink Petticoat from the His/ Hers papers
The image is by Chocolate Baroque Fresh Florals set, coloured with a mix of watercolour pencils and promarkers then cut out with a nestie oval.
The sentiment is from Flourishes Orchids set, stamped in Versafine Black and cut out with a nestie circle.
I`ve added a pink gingham ribbon and bow.
The panel is added using foam pads.
I`m being extremely good just lately and going straight to my snippet box for papers rather than cutting into new sheets or printing more off. Not that it`s making much of a hole in the amount of snippets I have but every little helps and I`m determined not to buy new papers for a while (until I see something that I just can`t live without lol)

I`ve got the Baby Blues...
....only kidding.Lol. But I have been making baby cards.
WARNING! Very long post!!!
As it`s Sunday, and that means Jules crafty snippets day I thought I`d share them with you.
First is this cutie one.
One of the girls I work with has become a Grandma for the first time and I thought, what better occasion to make a card for. It has been a strange week one way or another. As my daughters MiL died on Sunday night, Jacob, the baby the card is to celebrate, was born on Monday morning. In my experience that seems to happen alot.
Anyway, I digress. The card is very CaS.
A6 card base. I cut a panel slightly smaller and embossed the top half in the Swiss Dots EF.
The DP on the bottom half is a small snippet from Papermania`s Blueberry Hill Collection.
The Giraffe is a Digi from Pink Petticoat coloured with promarkers and cut out.
I`ve added a ribbon from my stash and a tag.
The sentiment is a joint one from Personal Impressions and Flourishes.
My second card is also for this weeks Less is More Challenge
which is to make a card using shades of blue.
I have used snippets on this one too.
Tara made a bow like this on her St Lukes card which you can see HERE
I told her that I had tried to make one like that ages ago and it was so rubbish I never bothered again but, not to be outdone I gave it another go and I`m rather pleased with it. Since I was already in baby mode I used it on a card that I can give to those who don`t like cutsie.
A really simple 5x5 card base.
A snippet from Papermania Capsule collection matted on to some pale blue card then matted again onto some pale blue pearlescent card. ( all from the card bit box)
The sentiment is once again Personal Impressions and Flourishes Stamped in Memento Blue Danube.
I`ve added some pale blue gems to finish off.
And, as I have made 2 boy cards I just had to carry on and make a girl one too.
Same principle as the last but the pink DP is from a snippet from Papermania Blueberry Hill again.
Matted onto slightly deeper pink cards.
This time though I lightly stamped some flourishes from Papertrey`s Fancy Flourishes on to the DP and used them as a guide to place some pink gems.
I`ve gone a bit more overboard with the gems on this one because it is girlie afterall.
Well it might have only made a small dent in my snippets stash but I`ve had great fun using them.
I`m off work this week so look out for more snippet makes.
Thanks for popping in...Lynne xxx

Less is More meets OLW
Good afternoon all!
I hope I find you all fit, healthy and happy. I certainly am not least because this is the first day of my week off work, yippee!!!
As it`s saturday it is ofcourse Less is More day and this week is a colour challenge. We have been asked to produce a card using shades of blue.
As you might have noticed I have been in blue mode recently so I was quite chuffed. I also mentioned in my last post that my Daughter`s Mother in Law died last Sunday evening after a long battle against cancer. She was only 58 which somehow makes it even more upsetting and I know that all the family are suffering at the moment. I have been wracking my brains all week trying to come with a suitable sympathy card to send and this weeks challenge made everything fall in to place. They are never easy cards to make so I hope I`ve done this justice. Here is my card,
I have used 3 stamps.
Delicate Branches from Inkadinkado stamped in Versacolor Baby Blue. It is very faint.
Elegant weeds from Hero Arts stamped in Memento Bahama Blue.
Autumn Hedgerow from Chocolate Baroque stamped in Memento Danube Blue.
The sentiment is from Papertrey also stamped in Danube blue.
For the purpose of the challenge I have left the card plain but to give to my daughter and son in law I`ve added a ribbon.
One Layer Wednesday # 60 is asking us to make a OL card using quck layers of ink by overlapping stamped images and/or sentiment without masking.
Thanks for popping in...Lynne xxx

St Lukes Charity Card Chalenge July
I can`t believe it`s July already. Where is the time going? Ofcourse a new month means a new challenge at St Lukes Charity Card Challenge. We had 40, yes 40 fantastic entries last month. Thank you all so much and keep up the good work.
This month is an easy peasy one (aren`t they all). We want you to send us a card using Black and White + one and only one, other colour of your choice. Your card can be any style, size or shape you wish. I can`t wait to see your fabulous designs.
Here is my card,
I seem to be a bit obsessed with this shade of blue at the moment but for me, a predominantly black and white card needs a vibrant colour, bright blue, hot pink or bright green. I used hot pink on my Less is More card and last time I made a green flower it reminded me of a cabbage (or maybe a lettuce) so bright blue it is.
The DP is Pink Petticoats Perfect Papers range.
The sentiment is Personal Impressions stamped in black inside a Waltzing Mouse Vintage Labels stamp in Bahama Blue and cut out with a nestie.
The ribbon is from a local haberdashery store and the flower is made from card from Papermill direct.
My daughters MiL Linda died of cancer last Sunday and although she wasn`t in a hospice, that would have been the next step I think. Most of us have seen first hand the wonderful care that is given to terminally ill patients in hospices around the world . In the UK they all rely on charitable donations so this challenge is invaluable to the St Lukes Hospice. Please keep joining us and sending your cards to sell to raise funds.
Pop over to the St Lukes blog and see the other DT cards to inspire you. Thank you.
