Serenity

Hi everyone. It`s our friend Jean`s birthday today so naturally I made her a card.
While we were away we popped into the local market town and I found a  stall selling craft bits. I picked up two paper pads by Hono, a company I`d never heard of but they are lovely papers and perfect for this type of card. I teamed it up with some ivory pearlescent card and this gorgeous image by Just Inklined.
I`ve used subtle colours (Promarkers and Spectrum Noir Pens) to go with the DP and chalks for the sky and grass.
The frame is Spellbinders Fleur de Lis squares and the corners are Fleur de Lis accents.
The ribbon is from my stash and I`ve finished off with a decorative pearl that I picked up from the Mei Flower stall at the craft fair I went to a couple of weeks ago.

It`s a beautiful day here, warm and sunny but with a lovely breeze, perfect for drying the washing. Oh simple pleasures :-)

    I've not heard of those papers either but they are really lovely and work so well with your beautifully coloured image. Loving the bling accent too ;-)

    Gorgeous image Lynne - and the colours are beautiful with the papers. Have dried my washing (in between the downpours) but cannot raise the enthusiasm for the ironing.... got to finish a card! LOL x

    All your square cards the last few posts are so soft and lovely, Lynn. They look like wrapped presents with bows, yum!! (Love the Just Inklined image!)
