Well, not only am I back for the third week running, it's still Saturday. I'm feeling quite pleased with myself.
It's a colour challenge this week at Simply Less is More and our colours are CITRUS.
I love citrus colours, particularly orange and lime so that's what I've gone with.
I made a simple panel, masked my balloon off and chalked some pale blue around the image.
The cloud is by Memory Box and I've added a tiny sentiment from Personal Impressions.
The enamel dots are also from Hobbycraft.
In 1970 when I was 15 I was allowed to choose my own colour scheme and decorate my own bedroom.
I had orange walls and a lime green door. We were still in the Psychodelic period so it wasn't quite as bad as it sounds. I loved it then and I still love the colours together now. My taste in interior design however has calmed down somewhat, although I do still love colour.
I do think my parents were very brave though ha ha.

ReplyDeleteOoooh! The white space and delicate blue shading gives your card a really airy feel; perfect for that fab balloon stamp. The orange and green are super colours for it. (My bedroom used to be purple and lime green in the '70s) :-)
