Less is More #5 Take 2

Hi All!

After all the wonderful comments left for yesterday`s post for Less is More, I`ve taken on board what you all said and have redone my card.
I think I knew before hand where I`d gone wrong, at least I knew it wasn`t right and really shouldn`t have posted. This is what happens when you try to make a card inbetween the weekly shop and the sunday roast.
Anyway I`ve done 2 versions so you can decide which is the better of the 2. I prefer option 2, the lilac ribbon.

I didn`t notice until I`d posted this one that one of the gems had fallen off, doh!
Somehow I just don`t think this card was meant to be.











Anyway I stuck it back on quickly and redid this one in the thinner lilac and I`m happier with this one.
I`m going to make another card altogether though so I`ll see you all soon.

    Yup the lilac is definitely more suited to the design...love it! Well done for giving it another go...I would've just given up lol!

    I agree with the other 3 comments above! I prefer card 2 with the lilac bow (and a lovely bow it is too!).

    What a great re-do! This is so lovely with the lilac ribbon. Sometimes it really helps to see things through other peoples eyes.

    These are beautiful! I like the swiss dots and you only stamped part of the image that is awesome. I might ahve to case these. ;0)

    I like them both, personally I like the green as it's a nice contrast against the lilac, but then green is my favourite colour! A stunning card.

    After reading your previous post I agree that the green bow drew my attention away from the gorgeous image, I think the second card here it exactly right, colour to match the sweet peas makes it just right for me, excellent.
