Good Morning All!
Happy Wednesday to you all.
I mentioned in yesterdays post that my friends daughter was expecting her first baby in October. This is the card I made for her and her partner.
I`ve used the same Borderbilities from Spellbinders that I used in a previous post.
This time I managed to get my patterns matching in the corners which I`m very pleased about. My mitres leave alot to be desired but overall I`m reasonably pleased with the outcome.
Once the frame was done the rest of the card was relatively easy.
I used Joanna Sheen Pink Gingham DP on white hammered card.
Placed the frame on the card ( this was the most difficult part).
The baby image is by PSX , stamped and embossed in detail silver.
I`ve left the image plain apart from a light pink on her dress. I raised the image with foam pads to sit neatly on the frame.
Then I just decorated the frame with some paper roses from my stash and some flat backed pearls.
The bottom right corner isn`t as neat as it could be so I`ve placed a sentiment over it to hide it.
Until they decide on a name for the baby I just made a quick sentiment on the PC and placed it with one foam pad but as soon as I know the name I think I`ll change it to make it more personal.
Blogger was playing up a bit last night telling me I had no comments when I did. It seems to have sorted itself out now, fingers crossed so if you left me a comment and I seem to have ignored you, I appologise.
Thanks for popping in...Lynne xxx
