More Handmade Flowers.

Happy Friday All!
Are you all looking forward to the weekend?

I`ve been busy making more of these fabulous hand made flowers and thought I`d better put them to good use.
I`ve made 3 cards for today, not for any challenges or occasions but just to keep for emergencies. My kids are always asking for cards at the last minute and it`s handy to have some as a stand by.

They are all made the same way, I`ve just altered the layout slightly.
I started with a plain white card 10.5 cm x 15 cm then cut a panel in the same card slightly smaller.
I ran the panel through the Cuttlebug using the swiss Dots folder but moved it around a bit for each card.
I`ve scored 2 lines with my score board to give an edge to place my patterened paper onto.
I added the sentiment after running it through the cuttlebug so I could judge where it was going better.
I added the panel to the card, using foam pads, before I placed the flower as I found it was easier that way.
I`ve added the flower and some leaves that came with bought flowers in my stash ( I`ll get round to making leaves one day).
Finished off with some flat back pearls.
The sentments are all Papertrey.
The patterned paper is scraps from my stash but I think they are all Papermania.

I think I`m going to leave using these flowers as the main focus for now but I have been making tiny ones using the smallest nestie circle that I can use as embellishments. I`m loving making these as they cost nothing and apart from crafting on a budget of next to nowt, I am just a teeny bit tight fisted sometimes Lol.

Thanks for popping in... Lynne xxx

  1. It's called knowing the value of money Lynne! I adore these cards - that flower certainly has wow factor! I think the yellow one's my favourite.
