...in my life.
After last weeks White on White challenge and spending every evening making mainly white wedding invitations, I had a desperate need to add some colour. I have made a second card for Less is More today and I`m pretty sure it won`t be the last.
This was how I was going to enter it.
Very plain with just the image ( Papertrey Fancy Flourishes) stamped in Bahama blue and heat embossed with clear EP.
The sentiment is by Flourishes stamps also in Bahama Blue.
I`ve added a few pearls to finish off.
But then I decided to add a ribbon and bow. Took me about an hour to get the bow right then changed my mind. Didn`t like the bow one bit.
So back to the drawing board or, to be precise, the scoring board and I scored 3 lines along the top giving me both a heat and a dry embossed card.
Not quite sure which I prefer now...
What do you think?
I have at least one more card in the pipeline so stay tuned.
Thanks for popping in...Lynne xxx

Love the colour you chose. I prefer the second one as I think the image is too low on the second one giving a large gap (just been picky really!).

Hi Lynne, the first one gets my vote - absolutely stunning! Whenever I see your LIM cards I always ask myself why I didn't think of something like that! xx
ReplyDeleteIf I were to choose, it would be the first card.. simple elegance. I much prefer the unbroken card surface, nothing to take the eye away from that beautiful flourish!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much once more.

the first card is just stunning xxx
ReplyDeletePersonally I prefer the first. The plain area at the top draws the eye downwards to the gorgeous flourish, which is so elegant. Whenever I see Bahama Blue ink it reminds me I need to use it more as it's such a gorgeous colour.
ReplyDeleteWell done Lynne, a stunning card :-)
Think I prefer the first - they are gorgeous! Love them
