Hi All!
Phew! What a relief bloggers got it`s act together. I thought withdrawal symptoms were going to kick in.
This weeks challenge on Less is More
is Embossing. Either heat or dry, so I`ve gone with both.
Actually it`s more of a dry deboss but I like the effect.
This is my second card, the first one went in the bin.
Originally I wanted gold on cream but I`ve run out of Detail gold EP and the plain stuff went bobbly so I wasn`t a happy bunny.
I had a rake around in my card box and found this deep blue card with sparkly bits in it that I got from PaperMill before it closed. It`s quite hard to describe the effect as it`s not glittered, it has a sort of mineral look about it.
Anyway I really like it, I just didn`t know what I would use it for but I do now lol.
I debossed the rectangle using a nestie.
The stamp is from My Minds Eye Wild Asparagus set, stamped in clear ink and embossed with detail silver.
The `Dad` is using letters from Waltzing Mouse Victorian Alphabet also embossed in Silver EP.
I don`t think this will be my only submission this week as I have lots of ideas but time is my enemy at the moment. I`m still up to my eyes in wedding invitations. All the day ones are done, now I have 200 evening ones to do. It`s a bit like a production line in my dining room at the moment lol.
While I remember, can I apologise to all the entrants to last weeks LiM that I didn`t get around to. Busy, busy, busy all week and when I finally got the chance to chill, blogger played up. Sorry.
Thanks for popping in...Lynne xxx
I had a good old zoom in for this one Lynne and it's You're the second person today to use this set of stamps, I really must sweep off the cobwebs, because I really love them! (They're on my top shelf where the tickling stick doesn't quite reach!)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this one and we'll look forward to the next!
