The Shabby Tea Room wk#20 one two three!

Good evening to you all!

This week over on the Shabby Tea Room.
we were asked to produce something using   1 ribbon 2 buttons and 3 punches or dies.
Well that had my name written all over it so I just had to join in. Here is my card.
I made an A6 top fold card in white.
The DP are from Shabby Princess Signature Collection.  I love these papers. It`s a good job they are digital because otherwise I would just sit looking at them and not use them they are so scrummy.
My 3 dies are all from Spellbinders. I made the border using the Borderbilities Classic lace and placed it over the join in the papers. I also used the Labels 4 dies in 2 sizes, one for the sentiment and a larger one for a border around it using the same striped paper as on the bottom of the card.
My 2 buttons are really tiny, see thru ones and are placed in the bottom right hand corner. ( at least I think they`re buttons, they have 2 tiny holes in them).
Naturally I had to have a ribbon, whether it was asked for or not, so I`ve used a white satin ribbon and bow.
The sentiment is by Anitas Stamps and is stamped in baby blue Versacolor and embossed in clear EP.

I`m really pleased with this one. It all just fell into place. If only they were all like that lol.

Just a quick note about my new job. I had my induction yesterday. Two and half hours of reading flash cards and answering  questions that I didn`t know the answers to. Silly things like , where are the fire extinguishers situated? Doh, I don`t know, I`ve just walked in the door. And, how much money should be in your float? Pass! Really it was more of training excercise for existing staff but at least I get paid for it. Then I was informed that I couldn`t start today because I hadn`t got the all clear from immigration. IMMIGRATION!
I was born here. Anyone who has ever heard me speak would know I could only ever have come from one place. There is no mistaking the Hull accent, it`s not something you come across by accident and I have never heard anyone manage to imitate it properly yet either. So I`m not a happy bunny today. Never mind, more crafting time me thinks!!!

Thanks for popping in...Lynne xxx
