Jules Crafty Snippet Challenge # 21

Good Afternoon folks.

Well my mojo seems to have reappeared so I`ve getting down to some serious crafting this afternoon.

Before I show my make for Jules challenge, can I just say thank you for your comments on my Justin post. I knew I couldn`t be the only one with mad crushes on pop stars and you lot opened up brilliantly. The memories came flooding back and I was transported back to my well behaved ( cough cough) youth. I think David Essex came out tops in that one...

It`s going to be Alan`s sister Janices birthday in a couple of weeks so I`ve made her a card nice and early. Janice is a no clutter, no fuss type of girl so I`ve kept it nice and simple. Also, it being Sunday, I`ve used only snippets to make it. Y`know all those tiny pieces of paper that we can`t bear to part with, well with inspiration from Jules we can make something with them.

Here is todays make,

I found an almost full piece of card that I`d stamped on in one corner, cut it down to make a 5x5 card.
I scored two lines with the score board about 2" apart.
I had a small piece of patterned paper from Dovecrafts Retro Floral Prints pack that fit nicely into the space.
I stamped a Waltzing Mouse Vintage Frame in Versacolour Magenta and used Waltzing Mouse Victorian Alphabet letters for her name. I cut the frame out with a nestie labels 4 die.
A tiny scrap of pink paper made the Chinese rose and an even tinier scrap of green to punch the leaves.
The Happy Birthday sentiment is by Papertrey.

I`m really pleased with this one. Just goes to show what you can do with just a few teeny bits. Don`t forget to check out Jules blog will you, she has some gorgeous things to see.

Thanks for popping in...Lynne xxx
