OLW # 52

Happy Sunday Every One!

The challenge over on One Layer Wednesday this week is hosted by Susan and is called Round and Round.
We are asked to make a olc using circles.
Now the problem with crafting on a very tight budget means that I`m limited to the stamps in my collection. No way can I just pop out or go online to order a stamp on a whim. I know I`m not alone on this, there are many of us who look on in envy at the fellow crafters that seem to have stamps, papers, coloured inks and equipment to match any challenge thrown at them. The biggest problem is that there is so much...stuff... out there that we all `need`. I had thought of getting a sugar daddy but then realised that they don`t do what they do out of the goodness of their hearts, oh no, they want things in return. So I quickly discounted that idea. I prayed to the lottery gods but they ignored me. I even toyed with the idea of getting a second job but then I`d have no time at all to craft, so I`ve had to compromise and improvise.
What I`m really trying to say is that in my meagre collection of stamps I have NO CIRCLES.
Not to be out done though I came up with this,
I`ve used the Big Blooms from Waltzing Mouse stamps in 2 sizes and stamped them in Versa color Magenta, Lime and Heliotrope.
The sentiment is by Flourishes Tag Lines.

I know it`s not the best card I`ve ever come up with but it`s bright and cheerful and it kept me out of mischief for a few minutes.

Thanks for popping in...Lynne xxx

  1. Well I think they'll qualify as circles Lynne! They ought to anyway. I agree with you about it being a cheerful card. It's simple and great!

  3. I think it's absolutely gorgeous Lynne and definitely counts as circles! The colours are gorgeous. I know just what you mean about 'needing' endless stuff but I think being able to improvise the way you have adds to the sense of achievement. I'm in dire need of a crafty shopping spree 'though .... sigh! xx
