Good Morning All!
I`m quite early for this weeks Less is More Challenge for a change. For week 27 it is a colour challenge and we are asked to use the colours of our national flag. In the UK we are lucky to have two choices as we have our individual countries and our national flag (union jack) to choose from. For my first card I have chosen the St George of England flag. I have taken the challenge quite literally as you will see simply because of the huge amount of English flags that flutter all over the country when the England footie team are playing. Here is my card.
White 5x5 square base card.
I printed the sentiment (?) from the PC using Garamond Bold font.
I cut 2 strips of red card and placed them in an off centre cross onto the card.
The footballs are from The Stampman Football Mad stamp set stamped and embossed in black EP then cut out with a nestie circle and placed using foam pads.
I have an idea for a second card and I really don`t like doing 2 posts because of all the commenting you have to do but I wanted to get this one posted before LiM is inundated with football related cards Lol.
Thanks for popping in...Lynne
I think we'll forgive the black Lynne...it's a super card!
ReplyDeleteLove the sentiment too!
Thank you so much for including your flag in the card!

Brilliant idea to use the footie theme Lynne, although I'm quite anti-football living too close to a football ground and the chaos is causes! The embossed footballs really pop off the red cross though - you could enter it into the Allsorts Challenge too if you wanted as they want red cards :-)
